Today: Cybersec and Tech News Roundup
It’s been a busy week in the world of cyber security and tech news. Here is a roundup of some key stories from the past seven days.

 1) US Government Announces New Cyber Security Initiatives:

The United States government has announced several new initiatives to bolster its cyber security capabilities over the next few years. These include increased funding for research into artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, quantum computing, encryption technologies, and more; increased collaboration between public-private partnerships to share information on threats; development of an integrated national strategy for responding to major attacks; expanded use of biometrics in authentication systems; creation of a National Center for Strategic Counterterrorism Communications (NCSCC); expansion of international cooperation with other countries on cybersecurity issues such as data sharing protocols and threat intelligence exchanges; establishment of standards that will help organizations better protect their networks from attack by malicious actors or nation states ;and investment in training programs designed to ensure that both private sector employees are equipped with necessary skillsets needed when it comes time to respond quickly during times crisis.

 2) Microsoft Introduces Advanced AI Tools To Help Secure Networks:

Microsoft has unveiled advanced AI tools designed specifically for network protection purposes at this year’s RSA Conference held last week in San Francisco California .The company showed off its Azure Sentinel platform which uses machine learning algorithms combined with traditional rule-based detection techniques like signature matching , anomaly detection , heuristics etc.,to identify potential threats before they can cause harm .The platform also provides users visibility into their cloud environment so they can spot suspicious activity faster than ever before while still being able monitor all activities taking place within it at any given time .Microsoft claims these tools will not only make networks safer but also reduce false positives significantly allowing IT teams focus their efforts where most needed without wasting resources chasing down non existent threats

 3) Google Launches Quantum Computing Cloud Service :

Last month Google introduced its latest offering –a quantum computing cloud service called ‘Quantum Cloud Platform'(QCP).This service allows developers access powerful quantum computers via an API enabling them develop applications using qubits instead regular bits found today's computers making solutions much faster than what would otherwise be possible due limitations posed by classical hardware architecture .Google hopes QCP will usher new era innovation across industries ranging healthcare finance automotive manufacturing etc.,where speed accuracy decision making capabilities enabled through this technology could potentially revolutionize how businesses operate
